My 3,100-Mile Walk Across America

Jeremy Schulz had it all—his drumming career, his life in New York—but when it all fell apart, he hit rock bottom. Everything he worked for was gone. So, he gave it all up: his apartment, his drums, his old life. He decided to walk 3,100 miles across America, hoping to find something—anything—that would give him a reason to keep going.

He started at the Brooklyn Bridge with nothing but a sense of loss and a desire to figure out who he really was. Mile after mile, step after painful step, he faced the brutal reality of his fears, doubts, and failures. At his lowest, stranded in the Oklahoma panhandle, he prayed for help, and in that moment, he found God. He also found a strength inside himself that he didn’t know was there.

By the time he reached the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California, Jeremy wasn’t the same man who had started. He had rebuilt himself, physically and mentally. At 51, he transformed his body through bodybuilding, proving it’s never too late to reclaim your strength. But the real discovery was his purpose—helping others transform their lives...

It's Never Too Late to Rise Above

At 51, Jeremy transformed his body through bodybuilding, proving it’s never too late to reclaim your strength. Along the way, he discovered his true purpose: helping others transform their lives.

His walk across America was discussed on the Joe Rogan Podcast by Justin Wren, a champion of the Fight for the Forgotten campaign against bullying. Jeremy’s journey aligned with this mission, showing that resilience and community can create real change.

He founded Beats From The Core, a drum school that provides more than music lessons; it’s a place for hope, community, and strength. Jeremy aims to use his pain and struggles to inspire others and make the world a better place, one person at a time.

Now, he’s expanding his impact across America, proving that no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can always rise again. From losing everything to walking across the country, Jeremy Schulz found his true calling—and he’s helping others find theirs, one step, one beat at a time.
